We are hiring a Senior Aerospace Engineer to join our aerospace engineering team in New York. You will lead technical work on projects that matter to our customers. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our New York office.
What you’ll do
- Write test plans and support qualification testing
- Analyze aircraft and spacecraft structures and systems
- Prepare certification and compliance documentation
- Work across design, manufacturing and supplier teams
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- Solid understanding of aerospace structures or systems
- Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance may be required
- Strong technical documentation skills
- A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery
Nice to have
- Composite structures experience
- Experience with FAA certification
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in New York, NY is $175,000 – $222,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
