The employer is looking for a Senior Aerospace Engineer in Moreno Valley, CA. In this role you will lead technical work alongside an experienced aerospace engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Moreno Valley location.
What you’ll do
- Work across design, manufacturing and supplier teams
- Analyze aircraft and spacecraft structures and systems
- Write test plans and support qualification testing
- Run stress, thermal and dynamics analyses
- Prepare certification and compliance documentation
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- Strong technical documentation skills
- Solid understanding of aerospace structures or systems
- Experience with FEA tools such as NASTRAN or ANSYS
- A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery
Nice to have
- Composite structures experience
- Experience with FAA certification
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Moreno Valley, CA is $167,000 – $213,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
