We are hiring a Senior Aerospace Engineer to join our aerospace engineering team in Minneapolis. You will lead technical work on projects that matter to our customers. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Minneapolis location.
What you’ll do
- Prepare certification and compliance documentation
- Write test plans and support qualification testing
- Analyze aircraft and spacecraft structures and systems
- Run stress, thermal and dynamics analyses
- Work across design, manufacturing and supplier teams
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- Strong technical documentation skills
- Solid understanding of aerospace structures or systems
- Experience with FEA tools such as NASTRAN or ANSYS
- A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery
Nice to have
- Experience with FAA certification
- Composite structures experience
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Minneapolis, MN is $134,000 – $171,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
