As a Robotics Engineer Intern with the employer, you will gain hands-on experience and help shape how the mechanical engineering team works. This position is based in Fresno, CA. This is a 12-week paid summer internship. This role is on site at our Fresno location.
What you’ll do
- Work across mechanical, electrical and software teams
- Write simulation and test tools
- Tune and validate robot performance in the lab and the field
- Integrate sensors, actuators and compute hardware
- Develop software for robot perception, planning and control
What you’ll bring
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Robotics, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Understanding of kinematics and control
- Hands-on robotics experience
- Experience with ROS or ROS 2
Nice to have
- Experience with SLAM or computer vision
- Graduate degree in robotics
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Fresno, CA is $37 – $44 per hour. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
