We are hiring a Robotics Engineer to join our mechanical engineering team in Houston. You will work independently on projects that matter to our customers. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Houston location.
What you’ll do
- Work across mechanical, electrical and software teams
- Write simulation and test tools
- Develop software for robot perception, planning and control
- Tune and validate robot performance in the lab and the field
- Integrate sensors, actuators and compute hardware
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Hands-on robotics experience
- Understanding of kinematics and control
- Experience with ROS or ROS 2
Nice to have
- Experience with SLAM or computer vision
- Graduate degree in robotics
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Houston, TX is $115,000 – $146,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
