As a Reliability Engineer with the employer, you will work independently and help shape how the mechanical engineering team works. This position is based in Elk Grove, CA. This is a 9-month contract with the possibility of extension. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Elk Grove office.
What you’ll do
- Track and report on equipment availability and mean time between failures
- Improve preventive maintenance plans in the CMMS
- Develop reliability-centered maintenance strategies for critical equipment
- Run predictive maintenance programs (vibration, thermography, oil analysis)
- Analyze failure data and lead root-cause investigations
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Experience in an industrial maintenance or reliability role
- Knowledge of FMEA and RCA methods
- Data analysis skills
Nice to have
- Vibration analyst certification
- CMRP certification
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Elk Grove, CA is $74 – $91 per hour. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
