We are hiring a Quality Engineer to join our industrial & manufacturing engineering team in San Diego. You will work independently on projects that matter to our customers. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our San Diego location.
What you’ll do
- Develop inspection plans and control plans
- Own corrective and preventive action (CAPA) investigations
- Support customer and third-party audits
- Monitor processes with statistical process control
- Work with suppliers to resolve quality issues
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Experience with ISO 9001 or a similar quality management system
- Root-cause analysis skills (8D, 5 Whys, fishbone)
- Working knowledge of SPC and measurement systems analysis
Nice to have
- Experience with AS9100, IATF 16949 or ISO 13485
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in San Diego, CA is $98,000 – $124,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
