Quality Engineer Intern

We are hiring a Quality Engineer Intern to join our industrial & manufacturing engineering team in Los Angeles. You will gain hands-on experience on projects that matter to our customers. This is a 12-week paid summer internship. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Los Angeles office.
What you’ll do
- Develop inspection plans and control plans
- Own corrective and preventive action (CAPA) investigations
- Monitor processes with statistical process control
- Work with suppliers to resolve quality issues
- Support customer and third-party audits
What you’ll bring
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- Experience with ISO 9001 or a similar quality management system
- Root-cause analysis skills (8D, 5 Whys, fishbone)
- Strong documentation habits
Nice to have
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)
- Experience with AS9100, IATF 16949 or ISO 13485
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Los Angeles, CA is $27 – $31 per hour. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
