We are hiring a Quality Engineer to join our industrial & manufacturing engineering team in Huntsville. You will work independently on projects that matter to our customers. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Huntsville location.
What you’ll do
- Own corrective and preventive action (CAPA) investigations
- Support customer and third-party audits
- Work with suppliers to resolve quality issues
- Monitor processes with statistical process control
- Develop inspection plans and control plans
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Working knowledge of SPC and measurement systems analysis
- Root-cause analysis skills (8D, 5 Whys, fishbone)
- Experience with ISO 9001 or a similar quality management system
Nice to have
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)
- Experience with AS9100, IATF 16949 or ISO 13485
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Huntsville, AL is $72,000 – $92,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
