The employer is a packaging manufacturer running high-speed production lines across several plants.
Our Dallas office is growing, and we need a Quality Engineer who can work independently from day one. You will work closely with a collaborative industrial & manufacturing engineering group and report to the industrial & manufacturing engineering manager. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Dallas location.
What you’ll do
- Own corrective and preventive action (CAPA) investigations
- Develop inspection plans and control plans
- Monitor processes with statistical process control
- Support customer and third-party audits
- Work with suppliers to resolve quality issues
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Root-cause analysis skills (8D, 5 Whys, fishbone)
- Strong documentation habits
- Working knowledge of SPC and measurement systems analysis
Nice to have
- Experience with AS9100, IATF 16949 or ISO 13485
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Dallas, TX is $77,000 – $98,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
