QA Automation Engineer Intern

The employer is looking for a QA Automation Engineer Intern in Indianapolis, IN. In this role you will gain hands-on experience alongside an experienced software engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a 12-week paid summer internship. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Indianapolis office.
What you’ll do
- Report on quality metrics and release readiness
- Track, reproduce and triage defects with developers
- Write test plans and test cases for new features
- Design and maintain automated UI and API test suites
What you’ll bring
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Experience building test automation with Selenium, Playwright or Cypress
- Experience testing REST APIs
- Programming ability in Python, Java or JavaScript
Nice to have
- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or k6
- ISTQB certification
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Indianapolis, IN is $25 – $29 per hour. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
