QA Automation Engineer

We are hiring a QA Automation Engineer to join our software engineering team in Clarksville. You will work independently on projects that matter to our customers. This is a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension. This role is on site at our Clarksville location.
What you’ll do
- Track, reproduce and triage defects with developers
- Report on quality metrics and release readiness
- Design and maintain automated UI and API test suites
- Write test plans and test cases for new features
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Experience testing REST APIs
- Experience building test automation with Selenium, Playwright or Cypress
- Programming ability in Python, Java or JavaScript
Nice to have
- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or k6
- ISTQB certification
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Clarksville, TN is $60 – $73 per hour. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
