Our Chicago office is growing, and we need a QA Automation Engineer who can work independently from day one. You will work closely with a collaborative software engineering group and report to the software engineering manager. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Chicago location.
What you’ll do
- Report on quality metrics and release readiness
- Write test plans and test cases for new features
- Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline
- Design and maintain automated UI and API test suites
- Track, reproduce and triage defects with developers
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Programming ability in Python, Java or JavaScript
- Experience building test automation with Selenium, Playwright or Cypress
Nice to have
- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or k6
- ISTQB certification
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Chicago, IL is $98,000 – $124,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
