We are hiring a Project Engineer to join our construction engineering team in New York. You will work independently on projects that matter to our customers. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our New York office.
What you’ll do
- Coordinate subcontractors and track the project schedule
- Manage RFIs, submittals and change orders on commercial construction projects
- Track budgets and costs alongside the project manager
- Support closeout documentation
- Attend owner and subcontractor meetings and keep minutes
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related field
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Experience with Procore or similar construction software
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to read construction drawings
Nice to have
- OSHA 30 certification
- Experience on projects over $20M
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in New York, NY is $93,000 – $119,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
