As a Project Engineer with the employer, you will work independently and help shape how the construction engineering team works. This position is based in New Orleans, LA. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our New Orleans office.
What you’ll do
- Coordinate subcontractors and track the project schedule
- Track budgets and costs alongside the project manager
- Support closeout documentation
- Attend owner and subcontractor meetings and keep minutes
- Manage RFIs, submittals and change orders on commercial construction projects
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related field
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Experience with Procore or similar construction software
- Comfort working on active job sites
- Ability to read construction drawings
Nice to have
- OSHA 30 certification
- Experience on projects over $20M
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in New Orleans, LA is $68,000 – $87,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
