Project Engineer Intern

The employer is looking for a Project Engineer Intern in Omaha, NE. In this role you will gain hands-on experience alongside an experienced construction engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a 12-week paid summer internship. This role is on site at our Omaha location.
What you’ll do
- Manage RFIs, submittals and change orders on commercial construction projects
- Coordinate subcontractors and track the project schedule
- Track budgets and costs alongside the project manager
- Attend owner and subcontractor meetings and keep minutes
What you’ll bring
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related field
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to read construction drawings
- Experience with Procore or similar construction software
Nice to have
- OSHA 30 certification
- Experience on projects over $20M
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Omaha, NE is $20 – $23 per hour. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
