The employer is looking for a Project Engineer in Dallas, TX. In this role you will work independently alongside an experienced construction engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Dallas location.
What you’ll do
- Review drawings and specifications for conflicts
- Attend owner and subcontractor meetings and keep minutes
- Manage RFIs, submittals and change orders on commercial construction projects
- Track budgets and costs alongside the project manager
- Coordinate subcontractors and track the project schedule
- Support closeout documentation
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related field
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Ability to read construction drawings
- Strong organizational skills
- Comfort working on active job sites
Nice to have
- OSHA 30 certification
- Experience on projects over $20M
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Dallas, TX is $77,000 – $98,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
