The employer is a packaging manufacturer running high-speed production lines across several plants.
Our Miami Gardens office is growing, and we need a Process Engineer who can work independently from day one. You will work closely with a collaborative chemical engineering group and report to the chemical engineering manager. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Miami Gardens office.
What you’ll do
- Develop P&IDs, mass balances and process documentation
- Monitor and optimize unit operations for yield, quality and cost
- Troubleshoot production issues with operations and maintenance
- Lead process hazard analyses and management-of-change reviews
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Strong chemical engineering fundamentals
- Experience in a manufacturing or plant environment
- Data analysis skills
Nice to have
- Experience with Aspen Plus or HYSYS
- Six Sigma certification
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Miami Gardens, FL is $81,000 – $103,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
