As a Process Engineer with the employer, you will work independently and help shape how the chemical engineering team works. This position is based in Los Angeles, CA. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Los Angeles office.
What you’ll do
- Develop P&IDs, mass balances and process documentation
- Run designed experiments to improve process capability
- Lead process hazard analyses and management-of-change reviews
- Troubleshoot production issues with operations and maintenance
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Knowledge of process safety practices
- Experience in a manufacturing or plant environment
- Strong chemical engineering fundamentals
Nice to have
- Experience with Aspen Plus or HYSYS
- Six Sigma certification
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Los Angeles, CA is $108,000 – $137,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
