We are hiring a Process Engineer to join our chemical engineering team in Colorado Springs. You will work independently on projects that matter to our customers. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Colorado Springs office.
What you’ll do
- Lead process hazard analyses and management-of-change reviews
- Monitor and optimize unit operations for yield, quality and cost
- Run designed experiments to improve process capability
- Develop P&IDs, mass balances and process documentation
- Troubleshoot production issues with operations and maintenance
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Data analysis skills
- Experience in a manufacturing or plant environment
- Knowledge of process safety practices
Nice to have
- Six Sigma certification
- Experience with Aspen Plus or HYSYS
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Colorado Springs, CO is $96,000 – $122,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
