As a Principal Water Resources Engineer with the employer, you will set technical direction and help shape how the civil engineering team works. This position is based in Toledo, OH. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Toledo location.
What you’ll do
- Analyze data in GIS to support capital planning
- Model hydrology and hydraulics for flood control and stormwater projects
- Prepare master plans and engineering reports for municipal clients
- Design water distribution, sewer and pump station improvements
- Support grant applications and regulatory submittals
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work
- Set technical standards and guide decisions across multiple projects
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- 8+ years of relevant professional experience
- Strong report writing
- Working GIS skills
- Experience with HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS or SWMM
- A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery
Nice to have
- Experience with InfoWater or WaterGEMS
- PE license
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Toledo, OH is $122,000 – $155,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
