Our Shreveport office is growing, and we need a Principal Chemical Engineer who can set technical direction from day one. You will work closely with a collaborative chemical engineering group and report to the chemical engineering manager. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Shreveport location.
What you’ll do
- Support capital projects through commissioning
- Take part in process hazard analyses
- Size equipment and prepare process design packages
- Design and scale up chemical processes from pilot to production
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work
- Set technical standards and guide decisions across multiple projects
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering
- 8+ years of relevant professional experience
- Knowledge of separations and reaction engineering
- Understanding of process safety
- Strong analytical skills
- A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery
Nice to have
- Pilot plant experience
- PE license
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Shreveport, LA is $128,000 – $162,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
