Our San Antonio office is growing, and we need a Petroleum Engineer who can work independently from day one. You will work closely with a collaborative petroleum engineering group and report to the petroleum engineering manager. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our San Antonio office.
What you’ll do
- Coordinate with geoscience and operations teams
- Monitor field performance and recommend workovers
- Plan and optimize well completions and production
- Perform reservoir and decline-curve analysis
- Prepare economic evaluations for development projects
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Willingness to visit field locations
- Strong economic analysis skills
- Experience with reservoir or production engineering
Nice to have
- PE license
- Unconventional reservoir experience
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in San Antonio, TX is $124,000 – $158,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
