We are hiring a Petroleum Engineer to join our petroleum engineering team in New York. You will work independently on projects that matter to our customers. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our New York office.
What you’ll do
- Perform reservoir and decline-curve analysis
- Coordinate with geoscience and operations teams
- Plan and optimize well completions and production
- Monitor field performance and recommend workovers
- Prepare economic evaluations for development projects
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Experience with reservoir or production engineering
- Willingness to visit field locations
- Familiarity with industry software such as Petrel or ARIES
Nice to have
- PE license
- Unconventional reservoir experience
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in New York, NY is $158,000 – $201,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
