As a Petroleum Engineer with the employer, you will work independently and help shape how the petroleum engineering team works. This position is based in Charlotte, NC. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Charlotte location.
What you’ll do
- Prepare economic evaluations for development projects
- Plan and optimize well completions and production
- Coordinate with geoscience and operations teams
- Perform reservoir and decline-curve analysis
- Monitor field performance and recommend workovers
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Experience with reservoir or production engineering
- Familiarity with industry software such as Petrel or ARIES
- Strong economic analysis skills
Nice to have
- Unconventional reservoir experience
- PE license
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Charlotte, NC is $114,000 – $145,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
