As a Network Engineer with the employer, you will work independently and help shape how the software engineering team works. This position is based in Kansas City, MO. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Kansas City office.
What you’ll do
- Automate network changes with Python and Ansible
- Monitor performance and troubleshoot outages
- Document network designs and standards
- Configure routing, switching, firewalls and SD-WAN
- Design, build and support enterprise LAN, WAN and data center networks
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Firewall administration experience
- Strong routing and switching knowledge (BGP, OSPF)
- Experience with Cisco, Juniper or Arista platforms
Nice to have
- Experience with cloud networking
- CCNP or CCIE certification
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Kansas City, MO is $98,000 – $125,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
