As a Mechanical Engineer with the employer, you will work independently and help shape how the mechanical engineering team works. This position is based in Las Vegas, NV. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Las Vegas office.
What you’ll do
- Run tolerance stack-ups and apply GD&T to drawings
- Perform FEA and hand calculations to validate designs
- Work with suppliers and manufacturing on design for manufacturability
- Manage engineering change orders and documentation
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, Creo or NX
- Hands-on prototyping and testing experience
- Working knowledge of GD&T
Nice to have
- Experience with ANSYS or Abaqus
- Experience with injection molding or sheet-metal design
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Las Vegas, NV is $84,000 – $107,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
