We are hiring a Mechanical Engineer Intern to join our mechanical engineering team in Milwaukee. You will gain hands-on experience on projects that matter to our customers. This is a 12-week paid summer internship. This role is on site at our Milwaukee location.
What you’ll do
- Design mechanical components and assemblies in SolidWorks
- Perform FEA and hand calculations to validate designs
- Build and test prototypes, then iterate on the results
- Manage engineering change orders and documentation
What you’ll bring
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Working knowledge of GD&T
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, Creo or NX
- Understanding of common manufacturing processes
Nice to have
- Experience with ANSYS or Abaqus
- Experience with injection molding or sheet-metal design
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Milwaukee, WI is $23 – $27 per hour. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
