We are hiring a Mechanical Engineer to join our mechanical engineering team in Houston. You will work independently on projects that matter to our customers. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Houston location.
What you’ll do
- Manage engineering change orders and documentation
- Perform FEA and hand calculations to validate designs
- Run tolerance stack-ups and apply GD&T to drawings
- Work with suppliers and manufacturing on design for manufacturability
- Build and test prototypes, then iterate on the results
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Understanding of common manufacturing processes
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, Creo or NX
- Working knowledge of GD&T
Nice to have
- Experience with injection molding or sheet-metal design
- Experience with ANSYS or Abaqus
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Houston, TX is $89,000 – $113,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
