Our Glendale office is growing, and we need a Mechanical Engineer who can work independently from day one. You will work closely with a collaborative mechanical engineering group and report to the mechanical engineering manager. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Glendale office.
What you’ll do
- Run tolerance stack-ups and apply GD&T to drawings
- Build and test prototypes, then iterate on the results
- Design mechanical components and assemblies in SolidWorks
- Manage engineering change orders and documentation
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Hands-on prototyping and testing experience
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, Creo or NX
- Working knowledge of GD&T
Nice to have
- Experience with injection molding or sheet-metal design
- Experience with ANSYS or Abaqus
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Glendale, CA is $105,000 – $134,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
