The employer is looking for a Materials Engineer in Broken Arrow, OK. In this role you will work independently alongside an experienced materials engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Broken Arrow location.
What you’ll do
- Run mechanical, thermal and microstructural testing
- Write material specifications and test reports
- Perform failure analysis on returned and field components
- Support suppliers with process and material issues
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science or Metallurgical Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Laboratory experience
- Knowledge of metals, polymers or composites
- Experience with materials characterization methods
Nice to have
- Graduate degree in materials science
- Experience with additive manufacturing
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Broken Arrow, OK is $86,000 – $110,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
