The employer is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer in Warren, MI. In this role you will work independently alongside an experienced industrial & manufacturing engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Warren office.
What you’ll do
- Develop and improve manufacturing processes for new and existing products
- Lead PFMEAs and root-cause investigations
- Design fixtures, tooling and work cells
- Write work instructions and process documentation
- Support new product introduction on the production floor
- Drive scrap reduction, cycle-time and cost improvements
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Working knowledge of lean and continuous improvement
- Experience in a production manufacturing environment
- CAD skills for fixture design
Nice to have
- Experience with automation and robotics
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Warren, MI is $78,000 – $99,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
