The employer is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer in Indianapolis, IN. In this role you will work independently alongside an experienced industrial & manufacturing engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Indianapolis location.
What you’ll do
- Design fixtures, tooling and work cells
- Write work instructions and process documentation
- Develop and improve manufacturing processes for new and existing products
- Lead PFMEAs and root-cause investigations
- Support new product introduction on the production floor
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- CAD skills for fixture design
- Experience in a production manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of lean and continuous improvement
Nice to have
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
- Experience with automation and robotics
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Indianapolis, IN is $80,000 – $102,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
