As a Manufacturing Engineer with the employer, you will work independently and help shape how the industrial & manufacturing engineering team works. This position is based in Edinburg, TX. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Edinburg location.
What you’ll do
- Write work instructions and process documentation
- Lead PFMEAs and root-cause investigations
- Design fixtures, tooling and work cells
- Drive scrap reduction, cycle-time and cost improvements
- Support new product introduction on the production floor
- Develop and improve manufacturing processes for new and existing products
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Working knowledge of lean and continuous improvement
- CAD skills for fixture design
- Experience in a production manufacturing environment
Nice to have
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
- Experience with automation and robotics
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Edinburg, TX is $85,000 – $108,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
