Our New York office is growing, and we need a Machine Learning Engineer who can work independently from day one. You will work closely with a collaborative software engineering group and report to the software engineering manager. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our New York location.
What you’ll do
- Design offline and online experiments to measure model impact
- Optimize model latency and serving cost
- Build feature pipelines and model monitoring
- Work with data scientists to move prototypes into reliable systems
- Train, evaluate and deploy machine learning models into production services
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning or a related field
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Solid understanding of statistics and model evaluation
- Strong Python and software engineering fundamentals
- Experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow
Nice to have
- Graduate degree in a quantitative field
- Experience with large language models or retrieval systems
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in New York, NY is $164,000 – $208,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
