The employer is looking for a Machine Learning Engineer in Fairfield, CA. In this role you will work independently alongside an experienced software engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Fairfield office.
What you’ll do
- Optimize model latency and serving cost
- Build feature pipelines and model monitoring
- Work with data scientists to move prototypes into reliable systems
- Train, evaluate and deploy machine learning models into production services
- Design offline and online experiments to measure model impact
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning or a related field
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow
- Strong Python and software engineering fundamentals
- Experience deploying ML models to production
Nice to have
- Experience with large language models or retrieval systems
- Graduate degree in a quantitative field
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Fairfield, CA is $154,000 – $196,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
