As a Lead Quality Engineer with the employer, you will set technical direction and help shape how the industrial & manufacturing engineering team works. This position is based in El Paso, TX. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our El Paso location.
What you’ll do
- Develop inspection plans and control plans
- Monitor processes with statistical process control
- Work with suppliers to resolve quality issues
- Own corrective and preventive action (CAPA) investigations
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work
- Set technical standards and guide decisions across multiple projects
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- 8+ years of relevant professional experience
- Strong documentation habits
- Root-cause analysis skills (8D, 5 Whys, fishbone)
- Working knowledge of SPC and measurement systems analysis
- A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery
Nice to have
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)
- Experience with AS9100, IATF 16949 or ISO 13485
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in El Paso, TX is $114,000 – $144,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
