We are hiring a Lead Industrial Engineer to join our industrial & manufacturing engineering team in Columbus. You will set technical direction on projects that matter to our customers. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Columbus location.
What you’ll do
- Design facility layouts and material flow
- Analyze operational data and recommend improvements
- Build capacity and staffing models
- Map value streams and lead kaizen events
- Run time studies and set labor standards
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work
- Set technical standards and guide decisions across multiple projects
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering
- 8+ years of relevant professional experience
- Strong analytical and spreadsheet skills
- Experience with layout or simulation software
- Clear communication with operations teams
- A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery
Nice to have
- Experience with FlexSim or Arena
- Lean Six Sigma certification
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Columbus, OH is $113,000 – $144,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
