As an Industrial Engineer with the employer, you will work independently and help shape how the industrial & manufacturing engineering team works. This position is based in New York, NY. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our New York office.
What you’ll do
- Design facility layouts and material flow
- Run time studies and set labor standards
- Map value streams and lead kaizen events
- Analyze operational data and recommend improvements
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Strong analytical and spreadsheet skills
- Experience with layout or simulation software
- Knowledge of lean tools
Nice to have
- Experience with FlexSim or Arena
- Lean Six Sigma certification
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in New York, NY is $103,000 – $131,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
