Our Chicago office is growing, and we need an Industrial Engineer who can work independently from day one. You will work closely with a collaborative industrial & manufacturing engineering group and report to the industrial & manufacturing engineering manager. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Chicago location.
What you’ll do
- Run time studies and set labor standards
- Map value streams and lead kaizen events
- Build capacity and staffing models
- Analyze operational data and recommend improvements
- Design facility layouts and material flow
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Clear communication with operations teams
- Knowledge of lean tools
- Experience with layout or simulation software
Nice to have
- Experience with FlexSim or Arena
- Lean Six Sigma certification
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Chicago, IL is $78,000 – $99,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
