Our Phoenix office is growing, and we need an HVAC Design Engineer who can work independently from day one. You will work closely with a collaborative mechanical engineering group and report to the mechanical engineering manager. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Phoenix location.
What you’ll do
- Select equipment and write specifications
- Model systems and produce construction documents in Revit
- Support construction administration and commissioning
- Perform heating and cooling load calculations
- Design HVAC and plumbing systems for commercial, healthcare and education buildings
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Knowledge of ASHRAE standards and mechanical codes
- Strong coordination skills
- Experience with load calculation software
Nice to have
- PE license
- Experience with energy modeling in eQUEST or IES
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Phoenix, AZ is $84,000 – $107,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
