As an HVAC Design Engineer with the employer, you will work independently and help shape how the mechanical engineering team works. This position is based in Pembroke Pines, FL. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Pembroke Pines location.
What you’ll do
- Perform heating and cooling load calculations
- Select equipment and write specifications
- Support construction administration and commissioning
- Model systems and produce construction documents in Revit
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Strong coordination skills
- Knowledge of ASHRAE standards and mechanical codes
- Experience with load calculation software
Nice to have
- PE license
- LEED AP credential
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Pembroke Pines, FL is $85,000 – $108,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
