We are hiring an HVAC Design Engineer to join our mechanical engineering team in Irving. You will work independently on projects that matter to our customers. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Irving office.
What you’ll do
- Select equipment and write specifications
- Design HVAC and plumbing systems for commercial, healthcare and education buildings
- Support construction administration and commissioning
- Model systems and produce construction documents in Revit
- Perform heating and cooling load calculations
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Experience with load calculation software
- Experience producing construction documents
- Strong coordination skills
Nice to have
- Experience with energy modeling in eQUEST or IES
- PE license
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Irving, TX is $88,000 – $112,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
