The employer is looking for an HVAC Design Engineer Intern in Houston, TX. In this role you will gain hands-on experience alongside an experienced mechanical engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a 12-week paid summer internship. This role is on site at our Houston location.
What you’ll do
- Model systems and produce construction documents in Revit
- Select equipment and write specifications
- Support construction administration and commissioning
- Perform heating and cooling load calculations
What you’ll bring
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering
- Experience producing construction documents
- Experience with load calculation software
- Strong coordination skills
Nice to have
- PE license
- LEED AP credential
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Houston, TX is $23 – $27 per hour. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
