The employer is looking for a Hardware Engineer in Sacramento, CA. In this role you will work independently alongside an experienced electrical & computer engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Sacramento office.
What you’ll do
- Perform signal and power integrity analysis
- Design high-speed digital boards with processors, memory and FPGAs
- Lead board bring-up and hardware validation
- Work with firmware engineers to debug hardware-software issues
- Drive designs through manufacturing release
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Lab skills with oscilloscopes and protocol analyzers
- Experience designing complex multilayer PCBs
- Experience with Cadence or Altium
Nice to have
- Experience with HyperLynx or similar SI tools
- FPGA development experience
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Sacramento, CA is $141,000 – $179,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
