Our Lincoln office is growing, and we need a Front-End Engineer who can work independently from day one. You will work closely with a collaborative software engineering group and report to the software engineering manager. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Lincoln location.
What you’ll do
- Champion accessibility and usability across the product
- Work with back-end engineers to define clean API contracts
- Write unit and end-to-end tests for user-facing features
- Build responsive, accessible user interfaces in React and TypeScript
- Translate designs into reusable components and maintain the shared component library
- Measure and improve page performance and Core Web Vitals
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Production experience with React or a comparable framework
- Strong JavaScript and TypeScript skills
- Working knowledge of HTML semantics, CSS layout and browser developer tools
Nice to have
- Experience with WCAG 2.1 AA audits
- Familiarity with design systems and Figma
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Lincoln, NE is $102,000 – $129,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
