As a Front-End Engineer with the employer, you will work independently and help shape how the software engineering team works. This position is based in Escondido, CA. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Escondido location.
What you’ll do
- Translate designs into reusable components and maintain the shared component library
- Work with back-end engineers to define clean API contracts
- Write unit and end-to-end tests for user-facing features
- Measure and improve page performance and Core Web Vitals
- Champion accessibility and usability across the product
- Build responsive, accessible user interfaces in React and TypeScript
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Production experience with React or a comparable framework
- Experience writing automated tests for front-end code
- Strong JavaScript and TypeScript skills
Nice to have
- Familiarity with design systems and Figma
- Experience with WCAG 2.1 AA audits
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Escondido, CA is $135,000 – $172,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
