Field Service Engineer Intern

The employer is looking for a Field Service Engineer Intern in Ontario, CA. In this role you will gain hands-on experience alongside an experienced mechanical engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a 12-week paid summer internship. This role is on site at our Ontario location.
What you’ll do
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and software issues
- Install, commission and service equipment at customer sites
- Document service visits and feed issues back to engineering
- Perform preventive maintenance and upgrades
- Train customer operators and maintenance staff
What you’ll bring
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- Willingness to travel regionally
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record
- Strong customer service skills
Nice to have
- Experience with industrial automation equipment
- Experience servicing medical or semiconductor equipment
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Ontario, CA is $24 – $29 per hour. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
