The employer is looking for a Field Service Engineer in Columbus, OH. In this role you will work independently alongside an experienced mechanical engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Columbus location.
What you’ll do
- Train customer operators and maintenance staff
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and software issues
- Install, commission and service equipment at customer sites
- Document service visits and feed issues back to engineering
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Willingness to travel regionally
- Strong customer service skills
Nice to have
- Experience servicing medical or semiconductor equipment
- Experience with industrial automation equipment
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Columbus, OH is $68,000 – $86,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
