Field Service Engineer

The employer is looking for a Field Service Engineer in Allen, TX. In this role you will work independently alongside an experienced mechanical engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a 9-month contract with the possibility of extension. This role is on site at our Allen location.
What you’ll do
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and software issues
- Train customer operators and maintenance staff
- Perform preventive maintenance and upgrades
- Document service visits and feed issues back to engineering
- Install, commission and service equipment at customer sites
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record
- Willingness to travel regionally
- Strong customer service skills
Nice to have
- Experience servicing medical or semiconductor equipment
- Experience with industrial automation equipment
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Allen, TX is $48 – $59 per hour. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
